Draft Horse Barn

This barn is associated with the farm's expansion in the late 19th century during John Jay II's residency. According to family traditions, the barn housed draft horses that were used to plow fields and haul heavy loads. The barn was recently restored with funds provided through a partnership between New York State and the Friends of John Jay Homestead.
