School House ....

School House (1826)
This simple building was built by William Jay, John Jay's son, for
his children. The stone walls are laid in a Flemish bond pattern.
The school house was later used for Sunday School lessons, as a
playhouse, and as a cottage residence. The building consists of a
classroom with a cloakroom, a narrow staircase to the attic, and a
cellar.
